What is Preprint?
Preprint lets you search and read papers from arXiv. You can follow research categories, save papers to your library, and download PDFs to read offline.
How do I save a paper?
Open a paper and tap save. Saved papers appear in your Library with their full details so the list stays readable even without a connection.
How does iCloud sync work?
Your saved papers, followed categories, and reading progress sync across your devices through your private iCloud account. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID on each device and that iCloud is turned on for Preprint.
Can I read offline?
Yes. Download a paper PDF and it is stored on your device so you can read it without a connection. Downloaded files stay on the device only.
Where does the research come from?
All papers and PDFs come from arXiv. Preprint is an independent app and is not affiliated with arXiv or Cornell University.
How is my data handled?
Preprint does not collect personal information and does not require an account. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.
